Compos

This year, the theme across all demoscene competitions (also known as compos) is inspired by the idea of "working together to achieve great results quickly." Very Reaktorian, right? All compos will be prompt-driven: our highly sophisticated computer system will generate a unique theme for each compo, and your goal is to bring it to life.

• Voting takes place on this page, but registration is required (no personal information is collected).
• There will be small prizes!
• Each compo will have its own unique theme.
• Following the theme is encouraged but not mandatory.
• Maximum length: 4 minutes.
• Multiple entries from the same participant are allowed.
• Remote entries are allowed.
• All techniques are acceptable.
• AI use is permitted in moderation.
• If AI tools are used, they must be mentioned in the "screen comments" field of the submission form.
• Submit your entries through this page. If your entry cannot be uploaded (e.g., a live performance), upload any placeholder file and provide details about your intentions in the "comment to organizers" field on the form.

The theme will be announced at 19:00 and you will have 20 minutes to make an awesome graphics entry. Entries will be shown and voted right after the entry deadline.

You have a few hours to create a song based on the given prompt, which will be announced at 14:00. There are no restrictions on the techniques used. You may also collaborate on the song—this is, in fact, encouraged!

Allowed formats: MP3, FLAC, OGG, MOD, S3M, IT, and XM etc. Ask organizers if you want to submit your song in more exotic format (e.g. you want to play the song using a real Commodore 64).

You have a few hours to create an entry based on the given prompt, which will be announced at 14:00. In wild compo the entry can be anything: a video/animation, theater play, computer program, poetry, gadget... or anything. Finnish laws may and probably will apply.
